COMMON QUESTIONS
Are part worn tyres legal and safe?
Yes, part worn tyres are legal to sell in the UK as long as they meet strict safety rules, including minimum tread depth and correct marking. Every part worn tyre we sell is individually inspected and safety checked against those standards before it goes anywhere near your car.
Do I need an appointment?
No, walk ins are welcome, and most fittings are done while you wait. If you want to be sure we have your size in stock before you set off, call 020 8374 9404 or send a quote request and we'll confirm.
How do I find my tyre size?
Look for a code such as 205/55 R16 on the tyre sidewall. It describes the tyre's width, profile and rim size. Send us that (or just your vehicle registration) and we'll take care of the rest, or simply WhatsApp us a photo of the sidewall and we'll read it for you. Front and rear sizes can differ on some cars, so check both if you're replacing all four.
Can you fit tyres the same day?
Usually, yes, same day fitting is available for most sizes. We're open until 5:30pm on weekdays and 4pm on Saturdays. The earlier you get in touch, the more likely we can sort you out the same day.
New or part worn: which should I choose?
New tyres last longer and are the best long term value; quality part worns are a budget friendly option that still meet UK safety standards. Tell us how you use the car and we'll give you an honest recommendation, never an upsell.
What happens after I send a quote request?
We check availability and contact you during opening hours with a fitted price. Requests sent while we're closed are handled when we reopen. For urgent fittings it's always fastest to call the shop directly.
